I'm back!!!

Well, after months of silence, I finally got into my blog account. Sooooo here goes.

I am getting my proposal ready to send off. Hoorya!! This is a mountain that I have struggled to get over. BUt I am doing it. My writing is stronger that it was when I first finished my book, so the delay is not all bad. I have great expectations formy writing. After all, I am an incurable optimist.

What's new?
Still writing on Golden Dreams and Bounty. And hope to have them both ready by the ACFW conference to pitch to editors. AND I am ready to start new storys that have been percolating aroung in my mind and where ever else stories come from.

I'll write about the writing process later--it is wonderful.

Well back to the proposal.

God bless ya'll

A new YEAR - and it's already outrunning me : )

Whew! A blessed New Year. The words the Lord has given me for this year are - Favor and Grace. And the year has started off with just that. I am excited as I work on my book proprosal for Golden Dreams. I believe this is my year. I have a short story coming out in a Newsletter for a Western Chat. Excited about that. The Lord truly gave me that story - I sat down to start it and the thing just took off with a life and message all its own. OR I should say all the Holy Spirit's message. That it is annointed I do not doubt. Some day I will figure how to make a new paragraph - but for now it will just all blur together. Sorry. I have ideas for more books and am half-way through with Bounty. Talk more later. Have a blessed day in the Lord

Onward! and Diligence ETC.

Well, I am happy to report that I am half-way through book # 2-- Bounty & the Wyoming Wildcat. After a few weeks of being bushwhacked by the distractions of a bank account to low and blood pressure to high - I am back on track. Trusting the Lord that He knows all things and works all things out to good. So my goal is to be finished with Bounty by Dec. 15th. I can do this. Someday I will figure out how to make a new paragraph in this thing, but for now I am just putting in a quick note so I can get back to writing. Hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for. And with Christmas coming soon I pray that all have a meaningful Christmas. We live in dangerous times and the need to stay close to the Lord has never been greater. Keep Christ in Christmas and seek the Lord while he may be found. God bless you always in all ways.

A Desire Met - Praising the Goodness of God !!!

The verse the Lord gave me many years ago is Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. *****************************************Monday, I was writing along and happened to gaze behind me. I have a window that faces east and just thought to myself - it would be nice to have another bookshelf there. I could put books on the bottom and plants on the top. That was it - didn't tell anyone, didn't pray about it. Just a desire. *********************************The next morning, my husband (one of the greatest gifts the Lord has given me) came into my office and looked at the same east window and said. "This window faces east. We could get a bookshelf and put it here and you could put books underneath and plants above." And that's what we did. *****************************************Praise the Lord for He is good and His word true. Thank you Lord for all the wonders you have for us. Open our eyes that we may see Your Goodness and the love that You bestow upon us.

And the Journey Continues--

Whew! There's nothing like a lesson in trusting God. I trusted the Lord really well when my checking account was fat and happy. : ) Of course, that is not trust is it? SO, on this adventurous journey called life, I am learning to put my faith where my mouth is. AS I paid bills this week, I gathered the courage to look at what is in the old bank account. Gasp, gulp and oh my gosh. I, even I, who can barely tolerate the idea of having a job, wanted to rush out and get one. BUT you know what? That small voice buried deep within my heart said "Trust Me." I so want to be counted with Joshua and Caleb, the two wise spies, who saw the wonder and goodness of the land before them. And while there were giants in the land, huge obstacles that scared off the other ten spies, Caleb and Joshua knew their God. And Trusted that their God was fully capable of destroying the enemy and protecting and PROVIDING for them. So, I am fighting off the cowardly, faithless reaction to run from the problems and the promises God has given me and instead, I am running full tilt into the Promised Land with my pen (keyboard) sharpened to fill as many blank pages as I can for the Glory of the Lord. I am editing Golden Dreams and starting my new story Bounty. To God Be the GLory

I'm Back : )

Wow! It's been a wonderful October. I went to Cresent City, California and had a good friend - Hi Bettie!-edit my book. I also recharged my creative batteries while there and somewhat plotted 3 books. Now I am up to my eyeballs in editing Golden Dreams - the first book I have finished. I have to say, after finally reading my book - I liked it. I think it will do well. Sorry for missing a post. I paid for it though and went through technohoops trying to get in to post a new one. Apparently Bogger made some changes. Now, I have my password and user ID safely written down. Something I have a problem remembering to do. I'll be back with more. I'm off to edit land right now. Can't wait to start another book but I want to finish editing this one first. God is Good and can be trusted.
